Dedicated to the
Germantown Community
For 40 years!!
OUR PURPOSE
The General Federation of Women's Clubs is an international women's organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.
Our purpose is to bring together women in an organization where they can use their skills and abilities to benefit themselves and their community by promoting its civic, cultural, educational, and social welfare.
A BIT OF HISTORY
Women's Clubs are the prevailing association for women in the field of community service.
Our club is part of an international network with 6,500 clubs in the U.S. and additional clubs worldwide. You can continue friendships and membership wherever you go. The General Federation of Women's Clubs with headquarters in Washington D.C. was organized in March of 1889 and chartered by an Act of Congress in 1901. It is one of the world's largest volunteer organizations.

We host an annual craft fair (with silent auction and bake sale) on the weekend before Thanksgiving
-
We plant flowers in the medians of our two major roads as well as around the library and village hall
-
We collect school supplies at the end of the school year and donate them to the local food pantry for distribution to students in need
